HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is a national organization for secondary, post secondary, and
collegiate students enrolled in Health Science Education Programs and it is designed to enhance occupational
knowledge, skills and leadership development. HOSA members build confidence in their own ability to develop skills
that will lead to successful employment in the field of healthcare.
Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.
Community service at Plantation Bay is the last Saturday of each month (unless otherwise told).

SCHS HOSA Attends State Conference
Fifteen students from the St. Cloud High School chapter of HOSA recently attended the 34th Annual
State Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. Participating students included Stephano Brizzio, Chase Butner,
Elvis Martinez, Joshua Metcalf, Allison Harper, Maylin Roble, Angelica Rodriguez, Priya Sabharwal, Selinez Hawkins,
Jilliane Medina, Emily Murray, Destiny Rodriguez, Nicole Malley, Hailey Piana, Olivia Piana and advisor
Louise Thompson. Congratulations to Stephano Brizzio and Hailey Piana for placing 4th in the state in their team
event, Health Education.
