2011 District 11 One-Act Festival
Congratulations cast of the one-act play Emma which received straight Superiors at the 2011 District 11 One-Act Festival. Sierra Welch received the All Star Cast award with Liz Simmons receiving All-Star supporting cast award. The production also received the honor of Best Costumes. Special Thanks to Mrs. Sandy Williams for her beautiful creations.
2011 District 11 Thespian Individual Events
On Sat. 11/5 SCHS Theatre students competed against almost 1,000 theatre students from Osceola, Brevard and Indian River Counties in the District 11 Thespian Individual Event competition, one of our only 2 competitions each year. The students created a brand new record for SCHS with 2 Best in Shows, 15 Superiors (highest rating) and 6 Excellents (2nd highest rating). This is an AMAZING accomplishment for our students especially since many of the pieces where student directed. These wins qualify these students to compete on the state level against over 9,000 other students in Tampa in March.
